Lovely pictures. i have the same daylily, but it probably won't bloom for at least another week. its always blooming on fathers day.
it is one of the few original plants from this garden that was here when we moved in 20 years ago.
at first i thought that was a hydrangea in pic #2, but i now am thinking a lilac?

It's a monstrous Hydrangea. I definitely am going to try my hand at Lilac next year, though. On my "to-do" list!
Look at that beautiful astilbe - I have astilbe in the front lawn - LOVE them! What's in the very bottom shot?
